Founded in March of 1980, The McEnery Company soon became a prominent brokerage and consulting firm which was instrumental in the brokerage and redevelopment activities of historic properties in the New Orleans Central Business District. Renovations such as the old City Hall Annex building (546 Carondelet Street), the C B Fox Co. building at 220 camp Street and the Turner’s Hall renovation project on Lafayette Street were iconic restorations of historically significant structures in which The McEnery Company was involved at the level of brokerage, financing and construction management.
In the intervening decades, The McEnery Company has expanded its focus to include tenant representation, general brokerage, consultations and commercial real estate appraisal. With licenses and certifications across the Gulf South region, The McEnery Company has grown to become a recognized expert in the field of commercial real estate.
As an added benefit to our client base, The McEnery Company has an exclusive relationship with George Monsted of Lake Parishes Appraisal Services. This collaborative effort now allows us to provide residential appraisal services through LPAS within the south Louisiana and Mississippi footprint. In 2001, Malcolm, then a young high school student, was first introduced to us. Since then, matriculating through Tulane University and the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, Malcolm has developed the RDAS © operating platform which enables us to streamline and take advantage of the natural efficiencies embodied in this creative system for real estate analysis and appraisal.
